About The Artist
I don't like writing about myself. Possibly because it's hard to actually pin down the truth about youself rather than just listing your best qualities.. or qualities you think you should have.
Still, you can't go wrong with the basics.
I'm a 22-year-old English person, and I've been drawing since I was in primary school but never really considered myself good at it. It was discovering comics (Todd McFarlane's Spawn in particular) and the internet, in the first few years of secondary school, that taught me that you don't need to be able to duplicate a photograph in order to be an artist, and that having your own style is A Good Thing.
My real name is Victoria, but I go by Tori.
I didn't use Tori as a nickname for some time, because in Britan we call the Conservative Party the Tories. Apparently their name comes from a Gaelic word meaning an outlaw, though. The real reason I've chosen to use it, however, is that it is a unisex Japanese given name meaining 'bird. The kanji is 鳥.
Like most people, I go by several different usernames. My most common alias is Ciepher. I also go by Rip and variants (RipDieScharfschuetzin on Yahoo), being the namesake of Rip Van Winkle of Hellsing (more about her here).

I'm never happy with my hair colour. I've been blue, purple, red, black, blonde and bald.
I'm not religious. I tried to be once, but I don't have the faith to believe in something I can't find the evidence for.
Love is great fun, but not the be-all-and-end-all of life for me. I'm single, but finding a partner is not terribly important. I'd rather find friends and see if anything else comes naturally.
I'm not entirely sure about my gender identity, but am probably quite androgynous.
I've had mental health problems (read: been mad) all my life. Recently, I've been diagnosed as having Asperger's Syndrome.
